Robbie Williams demonstrated that he's well on the way to recovery at an exclusive and hard fought charity football match at Stamford Bridge on Friday evening, 12th May 2006 – hosted by Imagine Homes' Grant Bovey.
Footie mad Robbie - who played for Imagine Homes - was in danger of limping out of the forthcoming Soccer Aid tournament due to a groin strain.
Robbie's speedy recovery is good news for the Soccer Aid England team which also includes Jamie Theakston, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Angus Deayton, David Seaman, Paul Gascoigne and Jamie Redknapp.
The score between Imagine Homes and their charity guests was 4-4. The sponsored tournament raised money for Grant Bovey and Anthea Turner Summer Ball charities Chase and DebRA.
