Imagine Homes in Bristol's largest sale of apartments

Imagine Homes has significantly increased its property portfolio with the purchase of a landmark 72 apartment building in South Bristol recently built by local development firm The PG Group. The £10m deal, handled by national agents DTZ Residential in Bristol, is thought to be one of the largest single sales of apartments in the City.

According to Grant Bovey, Managing Director of Imagine Homes, the acquisition of St Peter’s Court in Bedminster will make a major contribution to the spread of the company’s developments nationally. “Whilst we have been concentrating on London and the North of England since the company started only 18 months ago, we are delighted to have been able to acquire such a major scheme to launch us into the South West property market”, he said.

Commenting on the deal with Imagine Homes, Ian Walker, Managing Director of The PG Group said, “We are delighted to have finalized this agreement with Imagine Homes. There are complementary skills between the two companies and we believe their approach to both the investor and owner/occupier market will be a real boost to Bristol.”

Located on Bedminster Parade and New Charlotte Street, the one and two bedroom apartments in St Peter’s Court are just half a mile away from Bristol city centre in an area of major regeneration. The entire development is due for completion in early summer 2005.

Andrew Biggs, New Homes Manager at DTZ’s Bristol office comments “the architectural highlight of the entire scheme will be the conversion of the former Grade II listed police and fire station into eight highly individual luxury apartments. This is a beneficial mixed-use scheme for the Bedminster area, providing a new library, doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, restaurant, art gallery, shops and offices,” he said.

Further information on the one and two bedroom apartments at St Peter’s Court can be obtained through Imagine Homes on 0800 458 50 50 or DTZ Residential on 0117 900 4330. Prices start at £136,000.
