Imagine Private Clients has commissioned BBC's Perfect Housewife Anthea Turner to dress one of their five bedroom houses at Richmond Lock. The new phase at Richmond Lock is part of the riverside development set in 14 acres of mature gardens in Richmond, West London and built around the Grade II listed Italianate mansion Gordon House, once the home to Lord Kilmorey.
In keeping with the history of the development, the five-bedroom show house at Richmond Lock has a traditional feel with modern features, chic comfortable furniture, contrasting textures and stylish accessories. London-based photographer Alex Schneideman was commissioned to take a series of photographs capturing the beauty and serenity of Richmond Upon Thames and his limited prints add to the elegance of the interior of the property.
Anthea Turner comments: "When selecting the furnishings for the show house at Richmond Lock we wanted it to be both homely and stylish and Alex Schneideman's photography complements the home we have created, and will tell a story of what living in Richmond is all about."
All fabrics used in the show house have been imported from France, and the furniture was commissioned especially for the property and handmade in the UK.
"The colour palette includes neutral warm tones to reflect the atmosphere of the development as a whole." continues Anthea.
Completing in 2009, the Imagine Private Clients' phase will retain the look and feel of the original development, but the properties will have additional specifications including a fifth bedroom and larger living spaces. Most properties will also include underground car parking.
Outside spaces in the form of a private garden, terrace or balconies are in abundance at Richmond Lock.
