Imagine handling Darlington development

British firm Imagine Homes, which has an office on Dublin, is handling the sale of an off-plan development in the north-east of England, with prices starting from £160,000.

City Heights is a development of new two-bedroom apartments in Darlington’s West End. The town, which lies in the county of Durham, has a range of amenities and is surrounded by Teesdale. It is within easy reach of the A1(M) and A66, mainline GNER station and a short distance from Durham Tees Valley International Airport.

According to Imagine Homes, continuing inward investment, excellent transport links and a thriving regional economy have made Darlington an attractive area for long-term investment. Between 2002 and 2004, year-on-year residential property values grew by 18 per cent, according to statistics released by Proviser.

The company is offering the properties as buy-to-let investments with a guaranteed rental return of 7.5% per cent of the purchase price per year for the first two years.

Completion is expected in January 2008. Call local at 1890 350 350 or log onto www.imaginehomes.ie for further details.
