Imagine Homes delighted to be associated with Chelsea FC Player of the Year 2006/07
This year's Payer of the Year ceremony was held at the exclusive Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park on Tuesday 15th May 2007. The black tie event was hosted by BBC's Gabby Logan and Sky Sports Matthew Lorenzo and was jointly sponsored by Imagine Homes, the specialist property investment company.
This is the most popular event in the Chelsea calendar and hosted in excess of 1,500 guests who came to spend a lavish evening with José Mourinho, the whole squad and past winners for the impressive award ceremony.
Broadcast live on Chelsea TV, the evening kicked off with reception drinks followed by a gourmet three-course dinner and the awards ceremony.
The awards presented included Player of the Year - voted for by its fans, Players' Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Goal of the Season. Peter Bonetti was the first winner of the prestigious Player of the Year Award back in 1967. Michael Essien received the crown this year to become the first African to win the award which was presented by Lord Attenborough.
